     Incorrectly applying a general principle to a specific instance:


      Most birds fly
       Penguins are birds
       Therefore, most penguins fly.

       Or:
       The average dog weighs 60lbs.
       Chihuahuas are dogs
       Ergo, the average chihuahua weighs 60lbs.
