"Tokyo Compression" is a series of photographs of Japanese commuters taken as seen through subway doors, shrouded by mist. It seems a window into Hell. The passengers appear dazed and numbed, almost in torpor. It made me think of Hieronymus Bosch.
A mute reminder of the compromises we make without thinking each day.
